This movie is a rather touching, intimate look into the lives of five teenagers forced to spend a Saturday detention together in school.
I could see how a number of people could really relate to this movie, especially since the five major stereotypes were provided here: the princess, the athlete, the basket case, the brain, and the criminal.
However, I particularly like how, in the end, they all saw how they had a little bit of each other in each of them.
A little old, but still rather relevant in this world of semi-rigid stereotypes.
Oh, but one thing: why the “Breakfast Club”? Heh, cereal-y sandwiches FTW.
